View Full Version : Game idea from my past 1987-89
Back in the day we use to play a game of every man for themselves.
The course we use was very large like the field at Splat Tag.
Each player received a small cardboard/paper tag to start the game.
Players have 5 minutes to go hide anywhere on the field, players should try not to start the game within 100 feet of any other players.
The goal is to collect as many player tags as possible before time runs out.
When a player is shot he holds gun up and waits for someone to take his tag.
Any live player can take their tag.
Only the dead players tag can be taken not the tags he has collected.
Anyone want to try a game or two like this???

that would be a fun game.... I remember those games.... total chaos, it was awesome!

I always thought it would be fun to have a league like that, only you would carry your tags with you at all the games you play and who ever has the most at the end of the season would win. you could even go 1 step farther and put $5 bucks a player into a pot and split it up between the top # of players at the end of the season. just a thought.

I'm down for some chaotic play, I always seem to do alright in that.
One question, would unofficial alliances be allowed? Those make it interesting :cool:
No that would not be allowed. This would be to see the skill of each player.

Awesome, I like it either way, but every man truly for himself has just a special edge to it :D
Games like this are great training for all types of players. You can learn so much from having only yourself to depend on at all times.:eek:
We used to play a Game similar to this, using several two man Teams, if one is shot both are eliminated, so much for covering my back Dude!:D
I'd be willing to play this, after all its what I do, Independent!/AKA

This sounds sweet Darrin! Kinda like the first paintball game ever played. I'm down. Would this be at open play or like a specific free for all day?

You could call it the Free For All day and just to add to the free part, have no field fee

Lol, D, didn't i suggest this all year last season? I was practically begging you, You just gave me the "Its gonna be a massacre and everyone will hate it" look.
I cant freakin wait, it sould be included in every sundays open game as a play option for the group, Private games might like it too (everyone likes a chance to shoot thier buddy)
