New members?

Ok, is darrin away or something? I have a buddy who has wanted to get onto this forum, but says that his account has not been activated by the administrator to allow him to post. How is the forum supposed to gain new members if darrin or another admin never get on? I think most people would agree with me its nice to be able to get new members on here but i was wondering if there is a reason why some new members are not being accepted?


I thought about putting this in the forum question section, but not many people look there.

Idk where Darrin is, but other then D the only other Admin I know if AKA. AKA may not yet know how to activate peoples account. I know when I help admin a forum, it was kind of tricky to find that tab if you were specifically looking for it.

Well heres the deal, if Darrin is off for a while then we must wait patiantly for his return. I would like to help but my duties and abilities are limited, although having a little more than a moderator would have. This is a Pay for licence for use Web site with Forum capabilities to which the licencee which is Darrin, has full Admin powers. He has put in place a program to stop the Bots and Spammers from posting, although they can sign up for an account. I myself have been deleting their accounts at 40+ a day everyday for the past 4 months. Now if I have been deleting a true potential new member which is quite possible being that I do not check all of their backgrounds. So 1st, have him try going through his activation link and posting for the first time with that link, if still nothing then please PM me his log in name and I will see if I can find out whats up. We surely do want every lagit new member able to post away, but we also need to keep the bots and spammers off our Forum./AKA
