COD4 Scenario games

that would be cool to have a scenario game based of of the Call Of Duty 4 story line.

I myself have'nt played any of the Call of Duty Games but I believe it was COD3 I watched a teammate of mine play where you had to rescue a princess from a Casino in Vegas, but I'm not sure which Game it was but it was a very cool Game. I've been playing Nova Worlds Black Hawk Down lately and all the time think this would be a Great Scenario Game to play out. What I mean is some of the Missions that are in the Game itself. Its always, try to take your Team in and complete a mission B4 Getting wiped out.:D So yea, alot of the Video Games out there would be great Scenarios to give a try./AKA

Combat paintball actually did one twoards the end of last season. It was based off of Cod4. They also do a yearly halo game. If you like that game too.

ya ive seen the halo game. it looks pretty cool. hopfully there will be another game based off of cod4 or the new cod5

Well, are you talking about a game based off the storyline? That would be kind of hard because the objectives are often ones that are impossible to simulate to a certain practical degree while maintaining the storyline. Of coarse doing things like headquarters, war, sabotage, etc are impractical with a large group but can be simulated if we make some tweaks. Headquarters isnt bad, something like search and destroy would be bad with no one respawning.

The problem with the most of the storyline generally falls on the scenarios you are going to be placed in. I know i will probly be going through the COD5 campaign (again) in detail and maybe the COD4 one (again) to see if there is a good plot to pull out to throw into Combat paintballs scenario slam. Lately, the halo scenario at Combat isnt drawing the biggest crowd and were looking to base a scenario off of another video game to maybe replace it if attendance drops and we are always looking for a new video game scenario for our scenario slam so look for the possibility of COD scenarios in the future from Combat paintball!

ya cod5 would probably be more fun cause you have 2 differant styles of combat. if you do do one i would say base it off of cod5

I say base it off CoD4, I was obsessed with that game for the longest time, and would defenetly go to an event like that. If you need any help on creating a scenario for it, just holler at me. I know that storyline through and through.
What I was thinking was a sabotage type match, were there is one bomb and a goal on each teams side. The teams must defend their goals but also focus on grabbing the bomb and planting it in the other person's goal and defend that one. It would be interesting. You'll have to figure out how to constantly move the spawns so they can be retracted away from the goals so they just don't have an instant spawn with everyone rushing the defenders and whiping them out, that happens to often. Planting and defusing should have a set time with a referee timing it, that would be fun.

I like the idea of the bomb game. Leave a bomb in the center of the field and have each team run to it and make the mad dash to the other side to plant it in the opposing sides base if it is undefended. The other game is give each side a bomb and have a different designated "bomb carrier" every round and if they get shot they have to go back to base and start the run again until there is a planted bomb that does successfully detonate.

I don't know it would have to be ironed out but I like it in my head.

were bouncing some things around here at combat trying to provide a unique scenario for the scenario slam. If its a great scenario everyone will have fun and what not, if the scenario isnt your cup of tea there are 3 other ones that weekend.


The bomb thing sounds ok, but then you tend to get a lot of 'puppy gaurding' bases and what not, i know it can be taking care of with respawn timers and what not but it might be better to avoid, ill bring it up to jared next time we're talking about the scenarios for this year. I know our HALO event (no matter how much some of you COD guys hate HALO) is a pretty fun event where its a single flag with multiple teams (like oddball) but it has a little bit of the COD feel to it with the random respawns.

Anyway, I'd like to see a mission like war in COD5. For those of you not addicted to the game, i'll explain. Bacically the two teams start at points on oppisete ends of the feild, Their are 5 flages in a line streched between the 2 bases.

How it works is that the flag in the middle (3rd flag from each base) is fought over. when your team controls the flag for say 5 min straight, than the "war" moves towards the other teams base. Meaning now the 4th flag from your base (2nd for the other team) is up for grabs. If you control that one again for 5min straght than the war moves to the flag closest to the enemy base. But if the enemy holds the flag for 5min or more than the war moves back one flag toward the middle....

I just realized how hard this is to explain.. Pretty cool game though. just a suggestion for Volkers and Jared.

just an idea, but how about a Gears Of War Scenario? Locust vs Cogs. we can tape cardboard to our guns and call them lancers!(guns with chansaws) we can have torquebows(like a bow gun) and mulchers(heavy duty machine gun, we could use a Double trouble for this) too. and if we really wanted, we could even have maulers(big locusts with one arm sheilds ) or boomshots( basically guys with a law) lol ive had way too much caffiene.

Lol, I take it your equation for that conclusion is something like,
caffine + gaming night + little sleep + paintball on the brain = video game based paintball scenario

But a Gears of war scenario isn't a bad idea.

well, ill give it to gears that they have a way better storyline than the COD games but COD gameplay is better IMO! :)

storyline wise i think Gears would be better for a scenario than COD4, but thats up to the head hanchos that plan the events. if anyone wants my input to help plan either one of these scenarios though, just let me know. i'd love to help(especially with the Gears of War idea)

first off if we ran a cod game, i'd have Juggernaut, and Last Stand. Everyone on the opposite team would be screwed cuz i'd be callin in airstrikes, UAV, and once my Helicopter came in, it would do work! i'm up for it.....r u?
