you guys seen this beast??? its kind of old & pretty spendy but damn its cool... if i had the cash i'd probably get one just for the wow factor of it...

Rap4 uses those "grenade" shells that hold 3 paintballs (or something like that, their .43 cal shells hold more).

This uses an external air supply and seems to hold more paint per shot.

I wonder how this thing handles nerfs, that'd be interesting.

Me and charlie sat across from a guy using one of those at Colleville on the bus back, he said he scared a guy off his feet, and that hed been lugging it around for almost the whole day.

For those calling on overshooting,

How many paintballs per shot? It can't be more than 15. With today's technology, many people with electropneumatics can easily hit 12-15 bps.

Really, what's the difference? Between you calling "hit" and the other player recognizing you said that, there will be some paintballs in the air that can't be stopped. Some may hit you. Do you call that overshooting, or is it acceptable because it was in the air?

thalion right to a point 15 balls in the air i do once in a wile call as insidental but if i hear contiuos shooting then no but with this its the fact that you will be hit with all of then at once. splat tag will not alow the multi shot out of a launcher.

It kind of reminds me of those hunters that go squirrel hunting with a 12ga. It kinda takes away the Skill factor of scoring a hit. Although I'm all for invention and design, which this gun surely deserves a applaus:). And I'm sure the same type of sportsman as that great squirrel hunter above, will own one and want to play with it. But for me it'll just be a few balls at a time at most./AKA

They also need to have a deep pocket...they were selling them for around $1000 for the smallest model (not the one in the vids) and I think it was like $3000 for the biggest one...:(

yeah their something like that... he has attachments so you can stick a tac8(or real pistol) on the front or various other things(taser... light)... he says hes been marketing to law enforcment mostly(crowd control)... i can't imagine using that shotgun style load with pepperballs people would be running for their lives lol

I think that would be cool if it shot nerfs....Obviously there would have to be rules about rapidly fireing the nerfs...but atleast then it could be used on teh field.

Which video had the nerfs? I too did not see them, but if this handles nerfs, that makes it much better.
