A day to remember.
For those that make it out to this event it will be one of
the events that will not be forgotten. There will be
camping and Night attacks on the 17th. On the 16th we
will kick off the full blown invasion!

For those who have been out to this event in the past we are once again picking things up a bit out on the course. We are adding more bunkers, Building a fort and adding playing field to the event.

For the night games we are picking it up a nother notch as well We have bought 27 3 inch Mortars. We will also be shooting up more bigger and better 1 1/2 and 2 inch mortars up into the sky as well.

There is a vidieo out at CC military Surplus of this event two years ago. if you have not been out for this event and are questioning wether to come on out or not pick one up. I go threw a lot of them and they are always running out. But Will try to keep them stocked

So far I have seen players from the MN Militia, Wild Bunch, Fierce Allegiance, as well as some players that I do not know if they are associated with any one.

Frederic PB had you guys wished to be mainly Americans or Germans. Every one will get a chance to play on both sides of the field but the teams will remain the same for the night attacks and the initial invasion on sunday!

Yes we had a doubble troubble last year it was mounted on a tri pod mount in one of the sand bag bunkers on the hill will be out there again this next year with some imporvements as well as maybe a nother one. Rockets still take out players behind and in bunkers but no splash effect if it hits the ground. it is considered a dud or miss. Will be doing another vidieo this year. also the Mortar fire works have gotten even bigger and better for this year. Like they were not awesome before.

Also sorry if I have not listed any other teams that have already signed up feel free to say that you are comming!

Also those of you who have been there before, remember the pine trees on top of the hill (german side) well...about half of them are laying on the ground now...it makes some great cover though!

There will be some paths cut but will be doing most of the stuff over the two weeks before the event. I have most of them two weeks blocked off to get the field ready for this event so it will be awesome

I am getting more and more excited as this event draws near. We spent all day sat working on the fields for this event. We fixed up the old bunkers built a few new ones. We are looking at adding 1 to 3 24ft cylinder block bunkers up yet as well as a wood fort as the final objective this year. If you missed the post we are adding field area on to this one and there will be a creek and added woods area. We have a few more weeks worth of work that I want to get done with to make this yet a nother outstanding scenario that cant be missed

i was only able to make it to this one year so far, which was last year and had the time of my life. the camping is sweet. the course is insane, the refs are easy to work with and willing to help and those running it make it really fun. with the teams that are coming it sounds like its going to be a really great time.

Just got done working today. Built the Germans headquarters and two more fence bunkers. Still a lot more to do though! And guess what!?

Awesome, The fields are just about done as we have built the new fort, and three new bunkers on the ridge line. Added a new area and trails. I am so stoked I dont really think any one really knows. Every thing is comming togeather really well.

I would not say that there is a nother nice bunker added to the other side as well that it was dark out when we were finishing that one so eric did not get any pictures of that one...

Left, right dont matter. Or you could go right up the middle. how I managed to do that one all by my self last year taking out the machine gun bunker several times fighting my way to and up the hill. Taking out every one around the respon point in the valley on the other side and any one comming over to fish me out till I ran out of paint with out even taking a bounce that I know of.

I will never for get that one. It will probably never happen again but was an awesome move. Will probably try and attempt some thing of that fassion a hunderad times before it ever happens again. But I would try a hunderad times just to experiance the thrill of doing it once! drool:)

Did I ever mention that even though it rained last year, the temp was perfect.... This year, I couldn't believe that the guy in a ghille suit didn't burst into flames...
Awesome time though, spawning and getting lit up over and over at the far base, peeking over the top of the hill and getting half a dozen guys laying on the side of the hill:)

THIS WAS AWSOME. we rocked the other team. the Rocket Launcher worked great.

My favorite story from this game was when me and Eric V were Germans and some stupid American was going to be all cool and dance around. Little did he know that my A5 and Eric's Ego had amazing range. in about a second he was a different color.

Yeah, I was on the on the other team; it really would have helped if we had a rocket launcher too....

But one of the most hilarious things I've witnessed in paintball happened when we didn't have a rocket launcher. One of our guys picked up a piece of pipe or something down in the junkyard and carried it around like it was a rocket launcher, and from a distance it looked like one too. It was so funny the first time he went towards the right side of the hill with it, I was halfway across the junkyard and I could hear people up on the hill screaming for their guys to get out of the bunkers laughing:) It was so awesome.

I think I got more welts yesterday than in any other event I've ever played in; no nice ones actually, just ordinary paintball welts, counted like 30 of them last night. I think most of them were from when we (the germans in the first game, the like 6 of us) were trying to hold our last base.

We all had a Great time, I thought everything went very well. I liked the feild alot, would like to play head to head paintball in it sometime. It made for a tuff D-Day Scenario though. And AKA, if you want a head to head in the junkyard you should come for the Halo scenario. Execept that gets confusing too since there are 4-6 different teams and one flag.

I thought the germans held them off at the last base, but i was pretty out of the loop at the end as i didnt have a radio.

i also had an awesome time. i was on the germans then the americans. there were plenty of great battles and lots of funny stuff happening. my two favorite moments were: my friend dan was busy working on the right side (as an american) he did a dead man walk all the way up the hill, got to the top and just started shooting people up. he cleaned house on that hill. very funny... also later in the day, there were only a few people in the back woods after the germans were pushed to their final base. i was shot out and on my way back to leave so i figured i'd check what i had going on in my hopper. 3 paintballs left and a little less than a 1000 psi in my hp. so i said "what the heck, mine as well do something funny and try to end this thing." so i tagged in at the reinsertion and headed back into the woods. i saw my friend laying down in the path and i said hey, lets just run and charge the base. he was all about it so we took off. he started shooting at the base and we got to the wall. i shot one kid in the base and surrendered the other. he shot 2 guys on the right and we both worked around it towards the flag. meanwhile a bunch of kids were being held up by another teammate of ours keeping them out of the way. so i went up to raise the flag while my friend kept it all clear. we raised the flag and the ref said to us "that's good guys, GAME OVER!!!" a sweet quick ending to a long day.

-btw: alot of great people at this game, plenty of players who played hard but left it on the field and were really nice cool guys. i was extremely happy with all of that...:):):)

Eric is right. leaving a review on pbreview.com does help. Let other teams and players know that it is and or is not worth comming out to the events on my field. This helps with the player count as well as how much I have to spend and put back into the future events and field to raise the bar every year making it exciting and a must attend even if you have been making the same one for the last five years. K we have not been doing it quite that long yet but you get what I mean.

As far as scores and points I will be posting them soon sorry for the delay as far as the pictures go There were not any picturs taken by me directly and I dont have any. We did a video that takes a lot of editing yet and will probably be done in a month or so will keep every one updated

Im pretty sure we all know who won.tongue:) It sure was fun yelling stuff tho. Like GERMANY, DEUTCHLAND, MANABODEN, and an occasional DURKKA DURKKA MUHAMID JIHAD just to confuze some people and to get some laughs.

And to all of the people on the armband team. Toward the end when we (the non armband team) were germans, we were asked to leave that left side (your right). I had a couple people brag about how they took that side when we were acually asked to leave that side by Jared.

As far as the game goes I am still sorting out the detail points have not been feeling good and on benedryl for an alergic reaction to some thing monday night So I hope to get back at things soon.

What I do know is the Americans won the first Half of the day. The points were very close thought with in a 100 points from what I know so far and if the Americans would have taken 20 min longer to get any of there first objectives or follow on missions it would have been a tie.

The Germans the secons Half of the Game Won by far. Still trying to find out if it was a shut out or not. If they took down the German Flag at the end they got 100 points but thats all they got at most. The Germans were given orders to fall back twice. What had happend is adjacent units (that were down the beach from them lost ground and they had to fall back to cover higher priority objectives at that point as in the Trail going up the ridge to prevent vehicles from making it up the ridge then to fall back and protect the main base. They were ordered to abandon the rest of the ground due the the fact that it had less priority as a tactical advantage in the war for the time. With each of the Orders passed down The Germans held there ground for the time period given. With posibly the exception of the main base. And that I am stil trying to find out. So the second half of the Game on Sunday the Germans not only won but dominated.
