Gander Mt. paint?

Hey does any one know what Gander mt. carries for paint? I'd perfer the one by Forest lake but any will do.

If My memory is correct there is:
Premiums
Marbilers
Big Ball
alot more..

They usually do carry those brands...

...but they've been sitting there for months.

Yea they only restock when they run out of the last box of that type of paint. and since most of the people who buy their paint usually play 2 times a year, the paint has probably been sitting there for a while. But if you do go to Gander, bring your knife and check them before you buy them.

OK I'm just asking because they are the only places that are in my price range and if I find that they carry good paint I'll start going there. I always bring my knife for those reasons and others.

One cool thing about GM paint is the sticker that shows when it was shipped to the store. Last year they had a big skid of Hotspot & the ship date was only two weeks old (of course it is shipped from there warehouse) while the little shelf box of Anarchy was over 6 months.

I am always upset when I give GM money for overpriced gear.
I have to deal with there policy on cutting boxes open.. According to them I need to pay for the paint, then open it, then if there is a problem I can exchange it for another unopened box, repeat. bangh:)
Also, good luck finding someone to fill a 3.5oz tank.

Last time I bought paint from there was some arctic for a winter game. Was about the same as online pricing too. They tend to be higher than wally, but they had a bit more brands to choose from. They do fill CO2, but be ware of over filling there. I think we in the FL area are better off going to CC military to buy what we need. At least someone there knows whats going on.....

My Eyes are still stinging from Gander MT. I just ran by I checked the prices. O MY GOSH!!! those prices are outrageous. ANy way this is what I found.

premiums $70/Case
Big Ball $50/case
Marballizers $80/case (not kidding you)
Nelson Anarchy $50/case
Stingers $40/case
Hot spot $35/case

I checked all the dates (like you said Foster they have them on every case) the Stingers were recieved may 5-6th ('08)so not bad. The Marballizers were from feb 17 2005 not kidding you. The premiums were from april 10th 2007. So it looks like I might be getting the stingers later.

Also what does CC carry and for what prices??

Thats a great price for anarchy... My buddy is always telling me its around 70-80 at fleet farm.. That fill is amazing! Sour Cream for sure...
We will be shooting Stinger at the giant big game. I have had no issues with it with a year and a half of use. I love the paint its cheap it works and its not from walmart. LOL but I dont get it at gander.. Northside Sports carries it as well. There paint is always fresh, or at least it get rotated...

The Maple Grove Gander Mt. used to carry all sorts of paint, but now all they restock is Nelson Anarchy & Hot Spot and those JT "Ammo" 1000-round boxes.

I've had pretty good luck with the Hot Spot I bought last year; it's not very good paint but it was at least roundish.

I think Gander Mt. as a corporation has mostly backed out of paintball. Their marker and paint selection is 1/10th of what it was. If you've still got Premium and Marballizer at your local store, it's probably 2-3 years old (as others have said.)


Edit: I went to the Maple Grove one today, and they made a liar out of me. There's some Marballizer and Premium from 2006, and all of the Anarchy is from last Spring. No new Hot Spot or Anarchy. They did have Stinger, but I've never tried that stuff and it looked pretty old as well.

I don't remember but the anarchy is like a year old though so I'm not going for that. That Gander has at least 30 cases of stingers and I flipped a few so they get atleast one flip but I hope they ar sitll good for serenity.
