I painted my mini mag body up red tiger to match the renegade king jerseys we are getting in soon.. It almost turned out perfect until I baked it and it melted marks into the passenger side of it.. oh well, I will paint it again next off season.. or mid summer if I get annoyed with it enough. Expect to see this slinging paint at Splat Tag this year, and probably Challenge for Children at MN Pro..

Looks good!! Couple questions. Did you sand blast it at all? And have you ever tried using that engine block paint? Maybe no marks from baking? If you'd like to put more time into it to try and get a better finished product I'd be more than willing to help. My dad has a mini sand blaster that is pretty low pressured. It does make nice pores for the metal to absorb the paint. I'm sure he'd be ok with us using it.

The mini mag comes factory sandblasted since its made if stainless steel, so all I had to do was clean it with de natured alcohol. Ill probably take ya up on that sand blaster when I re do the job, but ill use the same paint, I just need to hang the body in my oven instead of laying it on a cookie sheet on tinfoil.. That was my mistake lol.. Thanks for the kind words, and offe.

Edit and I acutally spent a long time on this primed it mon night after work, 6 red coats over tues night and wed morning, laid the stencils wed night painted black wed night and thurs morn.. Clear coated it thurs night and fri morn, baked it friday night.. I just didnt hang it to. bake it

No problem! Any thing to help out a fellow paint baller. It can be pretty extensive work. I tried a lot of different things on a gun of mine. Hope to see it out at splat tag!

played a few games with it, and bought some parts.. My 12v revvy wasnt feeding right, and I kept gettin eliminated because of feedneck jams.. Got an intelliframe from a SquidVision a new member of SAS MN, got a better ASA, and a dye rotor to stop the jamming (used a friends before and it fed flawlessly) and the newest edition.. Got an old tarnished up BOA from baccipaintball.com (thanks rogue for the advice on my choice) and as soon as it arrived I hit that bad boy with some BRASSO, the tarnish came off in about 5 minutes with little to no elbow grease .

Barrel after.. I added new o-rings and a plastic nubbin after the pic.

I don't have any paint or much air, but if these barrels are all they're cracked up to be this thing should rock now.
