I like the idea. My squad is considering a tank or assault vehicle. We have a 78 ford cube van and a 94 Jeep charokee. we would love a place for pointer and tips on making them and designing. sure like to se the top secret canon LOL

Go with the Cherokee for the four-wheel-drive capability. Even the Militia Landshark has a little trouble with Splat-Tag's steep hills sometimes.

I hear the rules are very strict when building such a Vehicle. Is this True? Is there anywhere on the web to find rules and Specs for most Feilds?

Yes, this is true, there are some strict rules for tanks.

Typically, they must have some form of insurance, and then there's other rules depending on the field/event producers.

For example, at Splat Tag the base vehicle must not have been one intended for public roads (ie cars, trucks, vans), but these are allowed at OK D-Day.

1) cannot go over 5 miles per hour
2)cannot be intened for the open road
3) a nerf hit and tnt is the only way to take a tank out
4)no off roading stick to paths
5)the turret gun has an uncaped rate of fire still under 15 bps
6) we dont but sertan feild have a target on the side wich is the only way to take it out.
7)if it has a cannon it has to be chronod

I know your asking Darrin and I'm not Darrin, but I have a suggestion for you that might work, it looks like you have already started one but you could just start a new thread in scenario gear for Tanks and we could sticky it to keep it up top. Then just move these posts there to get get it out of the Main Paintball section. Just a thought let me know what you think./AKA

Darrin's busy in New Zealand having fun, and since there aren't that many tanks out there, a single thread for them should work.
