I just was searching some Paintball news and came across this article I thought you guys might get a laugh out of it.
http://www.openpr.com/news/151023/Brett-Farve-distracted-by-paintball.html
And Brett apparently uses a SL74.

Invite him out to Splat Tag?
And maybe I am just off on marker prices, but I don't think an sl74 is 2000 bucks by itself.

It was when it first came out. Like the 1800 range.
Just like when the SLS came out. Retail price was like 1800 I think. I might be off but it sounds right.

i think this article is suspect at best.... this would be a huge story in the paintball community if it was true.... the site the article is on is one of those affiliate marketing sites so i dont think there is much credibility

Depends. Likely it would only be paintball news in whatever community he plays in. And I have no idea where he actually lives in the off season, so that could well be not here.
The affiliate bit is suspicious, true, but the rest I could see us not really hearing about it if it wasn't local to our community. Favre is old news to anybody outside of the MN/WI area.
Not saying the article is true, merely observing how it is possible either direction and we wouldn't have heard about it much. It wouldn't be national level paintball news if it were true.

That and the article is posted by the company, that is being pushed at the end of the article.

Chris Kluwe(Vikings Punter) is doing just fine playing on the Dead Sqaud. hmm maybe we should invite Favre and Rogers to be generals for gbg 20. that would be epic.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that Childress is (was) the reason for the bad Viking's year. That, and he's a big d-bag...and always has been.
But yeah, it would be cool if Favre played ball...lol
Brett does not play in open games.

What a noob, everyone knows real ballers use an SL68.

Not once in that article is Favre's name spelled right.
The SL74 retails for "2000 thousand dollars"? That's 2,000,000 dollars.
My cat could write a better "press release". Oh, he just did, in his litter box.
