I love this pic but i do have to say one thing about it. If it would have been a skilled player with a tippmann all decked out it would have been sweet, because they would have been facing you firing back not curled in a ball of fear. This kid in the picture looks like a beginner using a tippmann rental. He was probably scared to death because it was his first time playing. Did you shoot him at that distance? As experienced players we need to realize we play with all levels of players. This was defenately a situation in which a experienced player rushed a scared newb who wasn't even looking down filed. cool pic but a great example of how not to eliminate a Newb. Just my opinion. I'm not saying anything bad to only you Nick. I've seen it all over the field. I saw the double trouble light up a 11 year old kid hiding behind a small tree. it was obvious he was scared to death, I had to go over and comfort him because he was crying. Aggresive play is fun but needs to be used against skilled players or limited. This is Just a game.
In no way has Slumlord influenced me to speak my mind more. LOL

I agree with you but. What you cant tell from this picture is.. I had no idea who or what kind of player (skill wise, age, etc) was behind the bunker. I just made my move.. Its part of the game.
As for his first time playing.. I doubt it. Becausseeee.... That Tippmann is not a rental (doesnt have green paint on it). It has like a 16" barrel on it. And hes got a Halo on it.
AANNNNDD.. This guy was the farthest up the field compared to his teammates that were behind him (much more "experienced" as you would put it).

Yea, I agree with you Nick, you don't know who's hammer'n on you from behind a bunker alot of times, but what you do know is... they are stoppen ya from going forward and some'thin has gotta be done!;) So I'd be happier than a frog in a pornagraphic fairy tale to have a pic like that one there.:cool:/AKA

great picture. I don't agree with the slogan at all. Just because someone has an ego does NOT Make them any better than they would be with a tippman. If you have questios about that ask C4 after he one balls you with his SL.

Guys, it's a joke.
I think most everyone who's a serious regular to paintball knows buying the gun doesn't automatically bring the skills.
I personally laughed. Great photo for sure.
As Nick said, there was no real way to know the experience of the player in the bunker. I don't see how he could have executed the move any better. Sometimes close range skirmishes just happen. Now, if Nick unloads ten balls on him (not saying you would mind you), that's not appropriate. One or two (or three)? Plenty fine.
Oh, and congratulations on being made famous

I thought it was an awesome pic also .I just had issues with the tippmann vrs Ego slogan. I brought up the issue of overshooting because it has been happening alot. I expressed to Nick on facebook I wasn't implying that he did this. I understand why that situation wouldn't have warrented a surrender and you handled it right. I tried the surrender at WWP and you know where that got me. right Thalion? LOL

I suppose you could also compare a 500hp Ferrari vs a 200hp Honda Civic racing thru downtown streets, If the Hondas driver is a pro & the Ferraris driver is a average weekend rich guy the Honda would most likely win every time.
its not the car(gun) its the driver(player)

That much paint in a month? C4, you're going insane! Slow down before you're in the poorhouse.
With all the player vs gun/driver vs car, I will point out that if the players/drivers are equal in skill, that tech advantage is far more noticeable...

Bleh, yeah, even using the Carbine I'd have paint to spare. But uh, I used to go through 1-2 cases in a day with my old A5 when I made a lot less $
