Join MN Pro Paintball and the Dead Squad to raise funds for the important work of Children’s Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota at the Second Annual Challenge for Children’s Big Game. 100% of the profits from registration fees will go to charity.

I wanted to have our sponsors donate stuff for the Raffle but they wont for two charitys in one month. And HFTC is our first responsabilities. It might hurt your efforts geting more money donated. I know we've already talked about this but you stated the 23rd was set in stone. We are trying hard to make it but I'll have to try and adjust our schedule yet again. grr

Like I have said to The Members of The PBPBC, it is going to be tough to work around the dates of the Games we so much enjoy and want to be part of this year. But remember that these Games are out there early enough to try to make plans for if you want to play in them. I to only am looking at it from a Calender point of view, and I sweat a little when I think about telling Ma how busy I'll be this year.:eek:
But like I have always done B4 is to just wait for The Game to get close and work like hell to get there and deal with the next one when it's time comes.;) I would'nt be much of a sneaky, dirty, underhanded Painballer if I did'nt find a way In.:D
I am Planning on being there once again my friends at Mn. Pro Paintball and Dead Sqaud. No matter the date, it was a class act Charity Game and am very Happy to be a Player in it. And no Matter what Ma says, I'm going.:p/AKA

We've adjusted our schedule.I'm trying to talk all the guys to invite the wives for this event. I think it would be a good way to smooth over the schedule in May and June. LOL ..are you going to have some kind of bunkars out in the hay field being its not season for Hay bails ?

I'm honored to resume role as General.This should be just as exiting as last years game. I can announce that our last years fearless leader(AKA)and his the Pelicans and Mn Mayhem have already joined forces with me to help bring Chunk down from his rein. It wasn't my intent to go against one of my most respected teams(Wild Bunch) on my Debue as General. But I stand,with in plan in action.

Happy to be back supporting the Challenge for the Children game. Should be a great game, looking forward to squaring off with Krutsie. If any of you are looking to play with Wild Bunch this game send me a PM.
Sure am glad to hear we are all set for this Game once again. I was happy to hear that Krutsie, for someone who was'nt sure he would even make the Game has decided not only to show but to General a side.:) I now, will be able to see if a younger, eager to win Player can harness his nerves to General a side of whoever, into a Fighting Force of diehards.;) I now will be able to join the others in the field of Dreams and mis-fortunes.recon:) My only hope is that The PBPBC and I can do as Great of a Job in The Field as Woodland Security and Krutsie had done for Me. Back story
The year is now 2040, ten years have past since the first major power struggle that left thousands dead and wounded. Since then the Covenant has rained terror and oppression on the people of earth to further its power.
After suffering heavy casualties to the point of being all but destroyed. The few that managed to survive with the Intel that they collected have started to regroup.The Resistance is rapidly growing stronger. Filling their ranks with militant citizens that have had enough and are ready to fight back.
The Resistance has assembled a new weapon and plan to use it to stop the Covenant once and for all. Currently all that is known by the Covenant about this new weapon is that it contains some form of toxins, how it will be deployed and how much destruction it can unleash is completely unknown. Will this new weapon be enough, or will the Covenant continue to hold power over the land?
The Resistance has recently allayed it self with a group of soldiers, the New World Militia. That have the same interests as they do, to crush the oppressive Covenant Government and bring order to the world.
The Covenant is now deeply seated in control , they have built a vast network of small outposts all across the region. They are now sending out death squads to exterminate all of the remaining Resistance to secure their power. They too have a plan, Covenant scientists have been working on a teleportation device that can send anyone, anywhere on the planet. Unfortunately for them they are still missing one very important piece of the puzzle. A very rare isotope similar to plutonium. If obtained this weapon will give the Covenant the power to bring the Resistance to their knees.
Which side will win the war to destroy their enemy? Who will rule the earth? Will the evil Covenant prevail? Or will the resistance finally win the war to stop the tyranny and oppression and restore peace and balance? It's up to you to decide the fate of the world. Come to the second annual C4C and take a stand for your side.

With Sponsors Rosters are everything. I have to update it every year. but if you read my post I said WS will be 20 strong(refering to the Childrens Game).
As far as the team.
If you Must know.. we have more like 25 but we are offering all styles of play this year. I have about 25 right now and we have two squads. Core squad based in Rochester(ran by Cobly Alberts)sized will be 4-8 guys and the X squad from Faribault,mn(ran by Jon Moriarity).Sized around 4-6 guys. I have 10 or so guys that just want to go to big events and not train hard. we are looking into adding on my second cousins group from Iowa as a Squad down there.6-8 guys. also thinking about a squad from Minneapolis by next year.
I'm guessing a event average of 15. but The Hunt and Childrens games are a highly recomended event so the numbers should be up there towards 20.
We lost a few Players last year and I know Oracle has joined you guys which is cool. He informed me of his intentions and I told him you were a great group of guys and there were no hard feeling.

Its actually been pretty wierd. 3 or 4 of my core member left at the end of last year and I thought it was going to hurt the team. Bringing on Colby Alberts as core Captain, Joe Bolton, Dan Bolton, Tim Wick, Kevin Wilds, and appointing Jon Moriarity as Captain of his group from Faribault. We're actually a new squad with alot of new faces. we're building structure for the squads future.
Last year at the childrens game we desided to come one week before its date. and everyone eather worked or was busy. It was kind of funny showing up with 4 guys and my middle daughter. I think this year will be a blast. Accepting General for the resistance was a hard desision because it will be my first , but I feel confident with, MN Mayhem,Mn Militia, and the Pelicans in my corner. CHunk and the Wild bunch arent just going to hand over a win to me. Its going to be an interesting fight.
Think how chunk felt last year. He didn't have any Wild bunch guys there. You guys helped him alot. I thought you guys deserved MVT.

I still have his number. I still have his number.
As far as the Childrens game . Be fast and agressive and you'll do fine against the WB. Join the Resistance. lets cause some Havok.you know it will be fun. you dont always have to go on the opposing side ya know. But I understand why you do.

I might have a few myself... quotation on "FEW". I'm not scared of a double trouble I got lit up by quadzilla from about 40 ft away at HFTC 2008, even tho I had just eliminated him with my launcher. the 15 seconds it took the ref to tap the tank I got lit up like a Christmas Tree. its kinda like catching a snake. you dont grab its neck facing him.you sneak around and and get him from the sides. No worries. but then again I'm in a netted tent. LOL

Eh, just pick up a few FS rounds, you can shoot all the paint you want, but it won't be going 200 feet and breaking, FS rounds will, and it'll only take one shot :D

Kinda curious how far my M82A1 will shoot one of those fs rounds.
shouldn't be long for Tippmann to come up with a single laod setup for a stock 98 0r a5.

I have a question... Is there a field rate of fire cap? and if there is how is it enforced? does mn Pro Paintball have any equipment to check. Just cureous..

Sorry Krutsie, I somehow let your post slip past me. The ROF cap for the game is going to be 12BPS and yes we have the equipment to check. We will be doing random checks though out the day. We will also be using our finely tuned ears and will check anyone we believe to be shooting at an excessive rate of fire.
Now for a little peek at what the game will be like.
It will be a multi stage attack and defend format. All the bottlenecks from last year should be eliminated. The dreaded field paint from last years event has also been eliminated and replaced with RPS Premium. There will also be side missions and tons of perks. That's all I'm saying for now. I think everyone is going to be very pleased with this years event.

To answer you questions. It will be 12bps per barrel. As far as preregistering on last years site, you will be ok. The prices are going to be the same as last year and your registration will be valid for this years event. The site should be updated today so everyone else please wait to register until the site is updated. One more thing, mock knives will NOT be allowed. I just threw that in there because I know you Damage guys like to use them.

Damage Doubles & R.E. Specials fire a little different than the typical crank'r.
Lets just say that they typically dont fall under the current "one shot per pull untill pull #__" that many fields require.
ATS guns fall along the same sequence, all or nothing.
From the looks of the Marker rules, I dont see how any RT's or ATS can be usea anyhow:
Markers/Paintball: Any .68 caliber paintball marker may be used. Any marker that can be adjusted on the field, without tools, is required to have a locking device to prevent this from being possible. All electronic markers are limited to 285fps Semi auto-only!, pump markers may chrono up to 300fps. No modes (psp, ramping, multi-shot) are allowed. Excessive rate of fire will result in a warning, then a referee will mark your wrist band. Barrel bags (barrel condoms) are required, players caught with no barrel bag on their barrel in an off-field area other than the chrono area, may be ejected from the event with no refund.
Well, it looks like I paid the "at the door" 2009 price. As long as any extra green finds its way to the cause I am fine with that.
Childrens Hospital saved my sons life in 2004.

It will be semi ONLY. Trigger bounce will also not be allowed, so please set your triggers correctly. Your X7 is absolutely allowed, just keep it in semi and you won't have any issues. Also before anyone asks, RT's are allowed but are subject to the same ROF cap as everyone else.

I also know very little about Damage's doubles or ATS guns. So I don't understand what would disqualify them. If you could PM me some info about them also I would appreciate it. The rules you quoted are from last year and may be subject to change for this year. Perhaps we can accommodate you. We're certainly not making rules to try to alienate any players.

Game Specific Rules for 2010 Tournament
This is a 3 stage game, please read the Stages section!
The game will be broken down in two halves, the first half one team will be attackers and the other the defenders. This will switch after lunch.
The objective for the attackers is to capture as many bases, including destroying the Plant (castle), in the fastest possible time. If you destroy the Plant (castle) you will need to hold it till the end of that stage. You will only score points while attacking. (With the exception of eliminating the opposing team general while defending.) Defenders must prevent the attackers from advancing at all costs!
Stages
There will be three stages to the battle, the third being assault the Plant (castle). In all three stages there will be three bases for the attackers to capture and use as reinsertion points (after being captured). There will also be a time limit of 50 minutes per stage, the next stage will open up after that time. The next stage will not open until either the time limit has elapsed (50 minutes) or the attackers have captured all three bases in the current stage. Once the next stage opens all missions and perks for that stage will expire.
Once the attackers capture a base, it cannot be taken back (with the exception of the Castle at the very end). Defenders should continue to defend other uncapped bases if/when a base falls.
After a stage has been opened the bases in the previous stage cannot be captured. All uncaptured bases in that stage can NOT be used as a reinsertion area.
Attackers
They will start out at the Attacker HQ, once signaled to start they will attempt to capture each base in Stage 1. After capturing a base (any base in Stage 1) anyone on the attacking team may reinsert at that base. Touch up and wipe off your hits.
Once a base has been captured by the attackers it cannot be changed back. It is now a reinsertion point for the attackers.
Once the mortars (firework) has sounded this will indicate the next stage has opened (either because all bases have been captured or the time limit has expired). If attackers have not captured all bases in the stage, they can advance into the next stage. All bases do not need to be captured but points will be awarded for capturing them while that stage is in play. The game will not stop.
After the next stage has been opened, the bases that were not captured will not be able to be used for reinsertion and can no longer be captured.
The Tank will be on the attackers side and can only be taken out with a LAW rocket or satchel charge. Attackers must command the tank where to move. Must use roads at all times.
Defenders
They will be trying to hold off the attacking team from capturing any bases in the first stage, then the second, then the third with the Castle. After the attacking team has captured all the bases in the current stage or time has expired they will fall back and defend the next stage's bases.
Defenders will be able to reinsert at the main insertion point (Defender HQ) behind the Plant (castle) or at any base that is in a stage not in play yet.This means that if Stage 1 is currently in play, Defenders can reinsert from any base in Stage 2 or 3. After the 3rd stage is open the defenders will reinsert only at their HQ.
Defenders will get a head start in this game in order to get their defensive positions set up. This will be about 2-5 minute head start from their main insertion point (Defender HQ).
Please do not spawn camp the reinsertion areas after a base has been captured. It can not be retaken.
Game Scoring
Points will be awarded as follows:
1st stage:
Bases are 100 points ea.
2nd stage:
Bases are 200 points ea.
3rd stage:
Bases are 300 points ea.
Plant(castle):
500 points
To score the points for the Plant your must be the team holding it at the end of the Stage 3 time limit. The Plant is the final base and is the only base that can be recaptured.
General: The General will be offered to go on missions if they so choose. 100 pts per stage for shooting general, he must reinsert at HQ only!!
Special Missions: One per stage. Will score points for team and/or award perks. Will be delivered to the General. Once the next stage has opened all missions in the current stage are void.
Tiebreaker: If game is a tie at end the winner will be the team that the captures the Plant in the fastest time.
Role Players/Objects/Perks
Perks will be awarded per stage. They need to be used within the stage they are earned or they will be lost! They cannot be carried over into the next stage. They cannot be combined(Terminator cannot carry a riot shield).Terminators do not go in tank.
Perks will given out on the 10,20,30,min into each stage and can be used at the generals discretion. Also perks can be found.
Attackers
Terminators: They will have a front-and-center as well as a rear facing target that must be hit to be eliminated(either one). A Grenade, Saboteur, LAW, or Gas Canister will also kill a Terminator. Only two will be in play at any time. Terminators cannot capture bases.
Tank: This will be used by the attackers. Must stay on roads or predefined areas at all times and cannot enter or capture bases. Tank will be disabled if hit with LAW, until attacking team gets perk again.
Riot Shields: They may be used as a portable barricade. Please do not leave your riot shield unattended. If you are eliminated while using riot shield return it to your HQ.
Teleportation: Team of 5-10(depending on how many total players in the game) can be dropped anywhere on an unlocked Stage. These players cannot capture a base themselves, but they can eliminate the defenders while other players fill in to capture the base. These players will be identified by white arm bands.
Defenders
Flag Bearer: Mobile reinsertion point and medic. They can go anywhere in the boundaries of the battle field within an Active stage and must plant themselves, and not move after they have established a spot(15feet from base). Players can touch the player carrying the flag or the flag itself and reinsert themselves (wipe hits). If the Flag Bearer (not the flag or pole) is hit by a paintball or grenade they must return the flag to the Defender HQ and reinsert (or give the flag to someone else at HQ). The Flag must be held up in the air the whole time. If dropped or player takes hand off flag it is destroyed. Players may not hold flag pole, they must remain 15 feet away before and after being tagged.
Saboteur: Single use. An undercover (spy) player who can eliminate every player within a 30 foot radius,including terminators,and Tank. They will have arm tape of either Attacker or Defender color (as decided by the General) and be assigned a referee which will trail them from a distance. When signaled the referee will eliminate every player within the blast radius. If a saboteur gets hit out before he detonates he cannot use the blast. Cannot explode in HQ.
LAW Rocket: Now includes 4 rockets! Eliminates players withing a 10 foot radius of a natural defilade or man made objects being hit. Eliminates a Terminator if the rocket lands within 10 feet. Eliminates a Tank by striking directly. A referee which must be present when firing. Please bring your own, you will be allowed to use them when you use this perk. They need to have a piece of tape on them to be valid. Remember once next stage has opened your law rockets will have to be renewed at the HQ.
Toxic Gas Canister/satchel charge: Single use. This will be a throwable projectile that will explode on impact and poison the surrounding area. It can be thrown and will blast a 20 foot radius. Eliminates people and Terminators. Also if placed on or hits tank will disable it.
Rules: Any rule questions during game play will be left up to the Game Masters on the field. The generals will know who they are.
Challenge for Children General Gameplay Rules
Before you are allowed to participate you will be required to sign a waiver stating that you know,and understand, the rules contained herein. It is important for reasons of your own safety and enjoyment, as well as that of your fellow players, that you know these rules and abide by them.
Boundaries: They will be marked by rope or tape. All play will be limited to the current active zone ONLY. No shooting will be permitted into or out of the current zone from any other zone or out of bounds (i.e. NO shooting across tape lines).All players must remain in the current zone during gameplay. If a player leaves the active zone for any reason, that player is eliminated and must reinsert at their team's reinsertion point.
Armband Tape: This will be provided at the beginning of the game at your respective headquarters. This will help to determine the enemy.
Goggles/Masks: Goggles must meet ASTM and insurance requirements, must be unaltered, must provide full face, eye, and ear protection, and must have suitable, undamaged lenses in them. Players caught lifting their goggles, may be ejected with no refund. Please use common sense here, we are only looking out for our fellow paintballers.
Markers/Paintball: Any .68 caliber paintball marker may be used. Any marker that can be adjusted on the field, without tools, is required to have a locking device to prevent this from being possible. All electronic markers are limited to 285fps Semi auto-only! Pump markers and Pistols may chrono up to 300fps. No modes (full auto, ramping, trigger bounce, multi-shot) are allowed. Excessive rate of fire over 12 BPS will result in a warning or removal from game, then a referee will mark your wrist band. Barrel bags (barrel condoms) are required, players caught with no barrel bag on their barrel in an off-field area other than the chrono area, may be ejected from the event with no refund.
Players Wristbands: When you check-in you will receive a wrist band. DO NOT LOSE THIS!! It will not be replaced for any reason as this is your receipt that you have paid! This will insure you are still a live player participating in the game. Referees will be marking them for violations. If you have 2 X's on your wristband and you get another you will be asked to leave. The violations will include marker safety, physical contact, threatening behavior, and cursing will not be tolerated. Violations will result in either a referee marking your wristband or ejection from the event with no refund (the referee will make this final judgment).
Prohibited equipment: No tools or any knives (real or simulated) may be carried on the field. No personal fill stations allowed on the premises. No unbreakable-trip wires - auto releasing is OK. No pyrotechnic devices. No unapproved smoke (hot) devices. No laser sights/pointers. Any items found in violation will be confiscated and may, or may not, be returned after the event.
Radios: Radios are allowed and encouraged. Please do not use the referee's channels 1, 2 or 3. If you are dead you may NOT use your radio until you have reached your reinsertion point or are healed by a medic. Resistance will use odd channels and Covenant will use even.
Check in with your General for radio specifics. Jamming will not be allowed.
Headquarters/Main Base: This will be the main re-insertion point for each team.
A large "live" map of the field will be on display and show who controls each base during the game. Each team's General will be located at the HQ and players should check in with their General for instructions.
Rules while game is being played
Barrel-tagging: You may barrel-tag players and eliminate them without shooting. The barrel must be attached to your marker, and you must immediately say, "Barrel tag!" when you touch them with it. A barrel tag is a tap, NOT a stabbing motion. Barrel-tagged players are immediately eliminated and are to walk away quietly. Failure to do so will result in a referee punch on your ID card. Barrel tagged players cannot be healed by medics.
Eliminations: If you are marked by a direct hit from a paintball and it breaks on you, you are eliminated. Marker/hopper hits count!
* Immediately yell "HIT" raise your gun in the air and keep it raised until healed or reinserted.
* Once you have announced that you are hit, you are OUT, even if you discover the ball did not break after the fact.
* If in doubt please yell "paint check" and the nearest ref can check you.
* If you are wearing a "ghille suit" all hits count on areas covered by this material, regardless of breaks.
* When eliminated, you immediately return to your HQ for reinsertion.
Game Start/End: All players should be at your base, report in to your General and be ready to go when the game begins! Game starts & stops will be signaled by air-horns, whistles. Between stages their will be a mortar noise(firework kind of).
Grenades/Mines: Paint grenades & mines may be used. One speck is enough for an elimination.
Side Missions: Side missions will be given to each General every stage. A successful mission completed in the allotted time will earn your team mystery points and or Perks.
Referees: Referees will be wearing T-shirts for event staff or Black and White . Do not argue with a referee under any circumstance. If you disagree with a call ask them for their first name and see the head referee at the scoring table in your headquarters.
Reinsertions:
* Attackers: may reinsert at any base they control. Reinsertion - Touch your HQ structure, clean off your hit and return to game.
* Defenders: will need to reinsert at reinsertion bases in non active stage or flag bearer.
Surrenders: We request, whenever possible, that you ask players within 20 feet to surrender. This is not a hard and fast rule, but a general consideration. We also recommend that players who are given this option accept it. Congratulate them on bunkering you and report to your base. Surrenders cannot be healed by medics.

Q: Does a law have to hit a solid object like a fort or bunker or will they also have splash damage if the just hit the ground?
A:They will have to hit a solid object, whether it be man made or natural. The only players you will be able to take out by shooting a rocket near them are terminators.

Building slow is the best way to do it, shoot the 1st hunt had what...60-70 players? Nice slow growth gives producers time to grow the game to the expectations of the players.
Dont get me wrong, Id love to see C4C reach its potential draw. But not at the expense of the game.

I was told alot of new young player come to this event so we need to make it fun for them. I feel an mentor program would be cool.(just an Idea) give 3 or 4 walk on kidoes per team to give them a fealing of importance. actually have the captains and team members give them some responsabilities.
This idea came to me at the end of the HFTC final battle when I was going to rush down the hill to get in range to shoot a guy just standing there. I heard a small voice behind me. "I'm in lets go" I looked behind me and a 10 yr old boy with a rental was right on my 6 ready, I said" you better stay back kid" but what if I would have told him to get on my 6 and run while giving him shelter and cover fire.. He would have been on top of the world. We have to remember these young kids look up to us serious players
remember, they are the future of our sport. Just an idea.

Sorry Krutsie, I somehow let your post slip past me. The ROF cap for the game is going to be 12BPS and yes we have the equipment to check. We will be doing random checks though out the day. We will also be using our finely tuned ears and will check anyone we believe to be shooting at an excessive rate of fire.
Now for a little peek at what the game will be like.
It will be a multi stage attack and defend format. All the bottlenecks from last year should be eliminated. The dreaded field paint from last years event has also been eliminated and replaced with RPS Premium. There will also be side missions and tons of perks. That's all I'm saying for now. I think everyone is going to be very pleased with this years event.

It will be semi ONLY. Trigger bounce will also not be allowed, so please set your triggers correctly. Your X7 is absolutely allowed, just keep it in semi and you won't have any issues. Also before anyone asks, RT's are allowed but are subject to the same ROF cap as everyone else.
Hello! I've only been to one game in Minnesota as I live in Lacrosse WI. Let me just say I was impressed by Splat Tag, and I'm assuming this event will be great as well! I just had some questions about the ROF cap.
I just bought a brand new HE Grip for my A-5 and I'm dying to test it, but under your rules I wouldn't be able to use anything but semi-auto in which case I would just save the cash on batteries and put the mechanical grip on. Here's what I'm wondering:
Why do you disallow modes such as full auto, ramping, 3 shot burst, ect? If the modes are capped at 12 BPS you would still keep people from being over shot all the same. I was just wondering what the difference was of walking a trigger 12 BPS vs holding a trigger down shooting 12 BPS. I'm not trying to fight at all and I ask in the utmost respect. I understand even if the answer is simply "because I said so". It's your field your rules.
Also, would you consider a separate full auto BPS cap? I know it would take a lot of trust and integrity on the players part to follow that rule but around these fields that doesn't seem to be an issue. Say a 10 BPS cap for full auto?
I really love my A-5, and I wanted to stick with it so that's why I bought the HE Grip, but at the same time I want the ability to sling paint with the rest of them. But according to these rules the HE Grip is pretty much banned except semi automatic.
I also have a few more questions regarding my other marker, a 2004 Angel Speed.
The 2004 Angel Speed has a different type of anti chop system. The marker senses the vibration of the paintball entering the chamber and the signature of your air system. There aren't eyes like most modern markers. When using the anti chop system the marker is automatically capped at 13 BPS. There is no way to change this. Now here's my question:
Is it illegal to shoot a marker over 12 BPS or is it illegal to have a marker that has the ability to shoot over 12 BPS? What I mean by this is is it okay to have a marker capped at 25 BPS even though I can only shoot 8 BPS? Or does it still have to be capped at 12 BPS even though I can only shoot 8 BPS?
I'm sorry for really getting into the technicality's of the firing rules but I actually have to. The Angel could be deemed illegal by this field depending on the rules, as could all of the modes on the HE Grip except semi auto. I just really don't want to break a rule and get kicked out of what's looking like such a great event, and for such a great cause.

That's a complex question and you bring up some decent points so I'm afraid I may not be able give you a satisfactory answer. What the rules are supposed to do is make sure the game is safe and fun for everyone, full auto and ramping can be very intimidating for newer players. Yes I realize that you can walk a trigger at 12bps all day long but that is just a reality of the game. Unfortunately you can't completely eliminate overshooting no matter what you do, the semi only rule helps though.
As for the second part of your question, any electronic marker must be capped at 12bps regardless of how fast you shoot. I know it may sound somewhat unreasonable but I just don't feel comfortable telling someone that it's okay to break the rules. Even though it's just barely breaking the rules. I'm sure you understand. If you have anymore questions don't be afraid to ask. I'll answer them the best I can.

I'm absolutely positive that a referee wouldn't even look twice at my ROF if they saw me shooting. But if it's against the rules, it's against the rules. I would also like to point out that response triggers provide a full auto ability, without the ability to cap the ROF at all and they're allowed. Examples:

I'm not going for stress relief on the newbies. I'm going for the great cause, and hopefully a ton of fun!

Phew! That's a sigh of relief. I remember out at Splat Tag when we were using the GBG field I got shot out, ran all the way back to me reinsertion point which was open at the time, ran all the way back and boom got shot before I even saw the guy. I was panting and sweating like no other. It was fun though!

Alright so the Angel won't be allowed for this event? I would like to know how strict these rules are. I'm not going to lie, I absolutely suck at walking the trigger. I'm absolutely positive that a referee wouldn't even look twice at my ROF if they saw me shooting. But if it's against the rules, it's against the rules. I would also like to point out that response triggers provide a full auto ability, without the ability to cap the ROF at all and they're allowed.
I may be wrong but it's starting to seem that you want me to tell you that it's ok to break the rules. I simply cannot do that. Although the RT gives a full auto effect it actually goes through a complete trigger pull every time it fires, it's a technicality. I don't know about mags but Tippmanns can be adjusted and as I stated before, RT's are subject to the same rof cap as any other marker. So if you can't adjust your RT mag to 12bps it will not be allowed.

No no no that's not what I was asking at all. I understand, I'll just slap on the mechanical grip on my A-5 and suck it up! I can also put the Angel at 12 BPS but the anti chop system will have to be turned off. That shouldn't be too much of an issue as my Ricochet feeds 15 BPS. Thanks for the response! You will have the option to request the side you wish to play for on game day. This is done to keep the need to rebalance teams to a minimum.

Covenant it is! But yea, that's what I was thinking. There's no way to cap a response trigger because they are random as to when / how good the sweetspot is.
Pardon me for speaking on Stretch's behalf but I think this is what he means as far as rules:
-Only 1 shot per trigger pull, absolutely no modes that add shots to a single pull (ramping, full auto, etc.)
-Don't be ridiculous, if you can cap your marker then it must be capped at 12 BPS, if you can't and your shooting over 12 BPS then the refs will stop and punish you accordingly.
That covers up any loopholes that are made.
Edit: Again I would like to apologize for making such a stink about the rules, I understand them and I'm done now. I hope I didn't cause any problems, I just wanted some clarification.

You pretty much nailed it my friend. Except that any electros or RT's must be capped or they will not be allowed, period.
Andy, the way that you cap Tippmann RT's is by adjusting a screw on the side of the trigger frame. It's not very precise but it works.

There is a little tightening crew where the air goes into the grip. tighten and loosen the screw to adjust air to responce trigger. that will adjust how much air goes in and how fast you shoot balls.
When people ask me what side to go on I just tell them eather side. I'm not recruiting for this game. I just want it fair and fun.

There will be a flag at each base to signal who controls that base. After a base has been captured the defenders cannot retake it. The defenders can reoccupy it but it will still be considered captured.
Well I know one thing, My Guns are leagal so no ?'s there.:p
The Game sounds fun to me and am looking forward to a good 'ol day of Attack and Deffend. It'll remind me of my days playing hours and hours of Delta Force II, on-line Attack and Deffend Team Play.:D

The reason we spend so much on masks is to protect our heads, neck protectors work, hats etc.. Jt even makes a full helmet Flex8, I see nothing wrong with shooting somebodys mug or melon if it's sticking up.
If they don't have proper protection or are too sensitive then maybe they should switch to tap dance or something....Paintball isn't for babies....

How can you adjust it down to 12 BPS? I didn't know this was possible...I'm sure you know better than I though
Are you talking about the Automag RT? The only way you can turn down the ROF on those, is lower your output pressure on your tank.
I also have a question about the caps. Say I can't cap my marker down below 14 bps, but my hopper will only feed around 10-12...though not consistantly (non-force feed Revvy), would I still be able to use that gun, with that hopper?

Ah, I forgot all about that! That's how the SPPL regulates rates of fire. It's genius and way harder to cheat than when you cap your marker. They don't have special modes in hoppers. I'll be rocking a gravity feed so I can use my Angel...Or maybe my older Ricochet!

The field setup is almost complete. The open field that had the hay bails last year has been turned into a pretty wild layout. A sort of combination of hyperball and airball. Possibly the first and last time anyone will see anything like it.

I can see it being quite chaotic if its a free-for-all and the possibility of attackers just camping the stage line waiting to run to a base ahead of most of the defenders...
Pretty much, the defenders can be in the next stage waiting in their bases for the attackers though.

So is the map you sent the Generals a week ago null and void. the only diference i see in the new map and our are a few of the bases in stage 2 and 3 are moved . nothing a marker cant fix. I'm sticking with the maps i got a week ago.

That one would be correct then if you changed the base locations to where they are on the map I posted. I guess the map that you got was from Mike. We moved some of the bases because of standing water from all the rain.
