Do you subscribe to any paintball magazines? Which ones do you you like (or not)?

I usually think of paintball magazines as mostly speedball-related, so I've never picked one up.

The magazines I know of:

Action Pursuit Games (http://www.actionpursuitgames.com/index.php) ~$33 for 1 year.
Facefull (http://www.face-full.com/) ~$50 for 1 year
Facefull's Jungle (http://www.jungle-magazine.com/) ~40 for 1 year (10 issues).
Paintball2Xtremes (http://pb2x.com/) ~$35 for 1 year.
Paintball Games International (http://www.p8ntballer.com/) ~$51 for 1 year
Paintball Sports (http://www.paintballsportsmag.com/) ~$30 for 1 year
Recon (http://www.specialopspaintball.com/shop/product_detail.asp?SKU=700+0026&CAT=116201) (SpecOps' magazine) ~$20 for 1 year
Splat Magazine (http://www.splatmagazine.com/) - $15 for 1 year?

Do you write articles for any of them, Badger? :)

I subscribe to Paintball 2Xtremes, myself. They are the ones that are willing to publish my articles, so I subscribed to them. That way, I don't have to rush to the bookstore to get the copy, it comes to my mailbox.

Paintball 2Xtremes also seems to be the only one that also focuses their magazine on scenario play. You're right, many of the magazines dedicate about 80-90% of their publication to speedball, but PB2X divided their magazine in half, and offer two covers after they flip the pages. Therefore, if you're a speedballer, read one side of the magazine. If you're a scenario player, flip the magazine over and read the woodsball/scenario side of it. beret:)

Paintball 2Xtremes is my favorite as well. I have known the publisher and exective editor for over 8 years.

I also subscribe to APG, the oldest paintball Mag.

I picked up a copy of both PB2X and APG today. There's no time today to read deeply, but so far, so good!

I ask for a yr sub of Pb2X last year for Christmas and same this Christmas. The new double cover idea is awsome i think its cool that my radio got in the GBGXII article (nov. issue) it was the pic of Lonestar with the LAW. And who was on the first scenario side cover from MN? It was one of the Wild Bunch right?

I also love APG but I think APG is more for newer players becuase it has alot of how-tos but it is pretty ballanced between Scenario and speedball compared to other mags.

It was Delta Echo of Wild Bunch on that cover you asked about.

You all probably know this, but it's news to me. Facefull's "Jungle (http://www.jungle-magazine.com/)" is now a separate magazine. Subscription $39.95/year for 10 issues.

I think I'll go check one out...

It's a good interview, but I wish it was longer.

... there's 15 members [of Damage, Inc.] in Minnesota.

Yes there are!

I get PB2X, PGi, Paintball Sports, and Facefull/Jungle

Facefull/Jungle because I have gotten them since they started and want to do some work for them eventually, and PB2X, PGi, and PSM because they publish my stories/photos so I wormed a free sub! Well, not so free, but still.
