You probably know that I already have the 720 version of this.
Just wanted to give you my thoughts...For the most part I like it a lot. It does what you want from a helmet cam, it is self contained, takes quality video and is lightweight. It comes with it's own software to keep track of things and do minor editing. I usually import my video into Power Director because it has many more options.
The only bad thing about the 720 version is that all video and audio settings are fixed, with the new 1080 version you can adjust resolution, bit rate, contrast, exposure and most importantly microphone sensitivity...Not much of an issue in paintball but a major problem when using for motorcycling or any recording that involves speed....... Not really an issue when I'm running though.
It would give you some nice supplemental video to go with your hand held.

Wow...That's nice. Of course I bought mine when they were relatively new and paid the full price. Oh well, kinda like buying paintball gear!

Very nice. I got $220 towards mine for Christmas. Just need another $180 for the camera and accessories I want. Maybe if I stopped buying paintball stuff for a month or two....nah....:cool:

But that would be to hard to not buy paintball stuff.
