I'm pretty new to the sport, but have to say that my favorite time so far was playing night games at Splat Tags small field (the one by the parking lot with all the plywood houses and barricades). I would play all the time if I could play that type of game with about 10-20 people per side. I guess I just like the short games, the close quarters and not having a bunch of leaves and branches in the way. How often do they use that field? And are there others like it close to the twin cities?

Last year, the night before the Giant game, I was the last man standing during one of those games, and it felt pretty darn good walking out of that 'fish house' in the center. I remember an indoor field a lot like it, over by the U of MN, but that was like 20 years ago

I don't know if I ever played the urban field at ST, but a fun field of house wall style bunkers is at XPHere Paintball in Faribault. It involves a lot of bunkers on a field of about 300 feet in length. If you might be interested, give me a shout and we will talk.

at almost all the open play games the groups end up playing on there for at least a few games..... you should try the 'tower' field as well.... that tower in the middle ends up getting pretty close too :scared0012:

We don't play the urban field a lot until the end of the day.

We try to play 2-4 games on it during mid day and then finish on it.

Splat Tag does not want to be a field that makes players burn through their paint on small fields.

Very glade you like the field! Will be adding more to it next year.
