i dont know about you guys but i had a blast last year

all of last year was awsome. a few days where i was in a bad mood but when i played last year i had a very good time. who agerees last year rocked?

Last year was the best year yet as far as paintball goes.

Some of my favorite highlights (good, bad, and ugly):

1. Hunt for the Cure (thank you Darrin and Wild Bunch for that great event)
2. OK D-Day 2007. I reffed instead of played, but it was still a great experience
3. Resident Evil game. How could I complain? Great game, record setting number of barrel tags (courtesy the "you're hit you switch sides" rule) and walked away with new gear :)
4. Frostbuster. If you were among the last wave of people to leave, you know exactly what I speak of.
5. All of the big games at the end of the month

ya i agree with the hunt for the cure game, and resident evil game both where some of the best days Ive played. also spring gbg was a good one but thats because i was in Lil reb gunning takeo:)

I agree with you all! Last year was another Great year for Paintball. For every Game we attended the weather was excellent. Finally got to meet alot of the people that I've been reading the last couple years on the Forums. Signed up some really into Paintball, Members to the Club. Got to play with and against Darrin alot more this year, and thats memorable for me. So as you know, next year will have to be something else, to top this year./AKA

Yeah last year was great...
Summer Giant Game really stands out for me, cuz I got to be the terminator again, but then at the same time was frustrating cuz of my finicky DM4. Those towers in the field were an amazing obstacle to go up against. Our rocket launcher came in handy that day for sure. The only wish I have for that is if this year the teams will be a little more even. So my guys don't get switch to the other team again to even things out.

Resident Evil Game was really really cool as well. I really hope Darrin does that again. Drew from Warfare chased me and a couple of my guys for at least 25 mins in that damn Nemesis costume. We basically played speed golf out in the woods. Run at dead sprint until we ran into humans, by the time the fire fight was over Drew had caught up with us, so we continued to run...(we didn't know we could get him out, and I know I heard him laughing at us at one point or another) He cornered us a couple times, it really blew. I don't think I will ever forget that. It was a very intimidating costume along with that DT.

My favorite end of the month game was were Wild Bunch and Militia Team up against everyone. There was so much damn paint in the air. Very very fun...
I recorded that day for most of it but it was extremely fun to watch and hear all that paint being thrown.

i think identity crissis was in there too. that was awsome the most agg i have ever been. i ran out of air 2 min on the feild and started throwing paint by hand very sweet game. i actually got some one out with hand throwing. lol awsome game i almost forgot.

Identity Crisis was there, but they were playing for the "everyone else" team.

And yes, I remember that.. "Fear no Angel!" laughing:)

I must have used 2-3 cases of paint in just a few mins in that game...I know I had to refill air/paint atleast once during that game.

Timline fashion

Back woods ball at friend's friend's house.
Interesting bunch of guys most I knew but it was a desent sized field I was the only hardcore player their and was the last person on my team to get out every game.

Private game at splat tag with youthgroup.
I knew everyone got off on a good start intimidated most people with all my stuff but that is usuall on my part. Pretty even teams good reffing (thanks Darrin and staff). Agian I was the only serious player but there were some other guys that knew how to play so that help form being lorded over.Funny thing this was the weekend after Hunt for the Cure and Sentinels won MVT and MVP so I deside to wear my jersey and no won commented just an observation.

GBGXII First Big game
Great time. For a first i used most of my new equipment (vest, jersey, pads). Hot most of the day didn't have much problem fogging up but my vest got really heavy so ditched that. Well run game yes I'll admit it was uneven but still fun. funny thing happened here was that thalion arrived late so I hadn't check in with him until during the game so when he asked if anyone had seen Lonestar I replied,"I haven't got to contact him with my radio" he looked at me and said "who are you" granted his goggles were fogged up a little and we'd only played together twice before but I was wearing the Sentinels jersey. Both my guns started leaking so I didn't get much in the last hour. I did get to use Thalion's Viking though (with my own paint) that thing is heavy.

September 23rd My bday and cusomer apprecation day
Alot of people had no problems with guns but with paint that was another issue. Brought my sis(first time), dad and friend out to play. Got a free case of paint with my Bible (long story if you want to know then I'll tell it).

Private game with youth group at Special Forces
It was wet and the Sentinels know what happens when special forces gets wet. Any who, I got lit up in the missle game and bunkered in a center flag game. My gun was acting up again so it took me awhile to teek it right.

I'd like to thank Darrin especially for his generous free days at splat tag, brought 9 friends, 7 now are frequent paintball players. Hopefully you will keep doing em!
I also liked Moonshine wars, that was just a good ol paint massacre :)

Yeah Darrin runs the best games around hands down!! Was a great year and this one looks to be alot better
